Music of the Week

So its week two for music of the week. And i really didnt change my music much at all since last week so i decided its time to bust out the A7X. Who's that? Well some might recognize my tattoo. Others might think its just some creepy looking skull with bat wings and a nice little saying on it. But its the logo to a band that truly does mean the world to me. Avenged Sevenfold. Avenged Sevenfold is a rock band that has been out since the early 2000's and well ive been listening to them daily since their first album Sounding the Seventh Trumpet. I have been with them through thick and thin, on both sides. The band has had their ups and downs over the past 15 years. But so have i. And were still here moving on. So with this band i cant just pick a certain album because seriously it would be all of them. So ill just name some of my favorite songs. Or atleast the ones that mean something to me.
1. Seize the day (yeah tattood.)
2. Strength of the World (ive had some ideas for my next but im not sure)
3. Radiant ecliple
4. second heartbeat.
okay as im starting to type out the songs im having problems because i love all of them...
5. almost easy
6. critical acclaim
7. afterlife
8. a little piece of heaven
okay well thats songs from their first 3 albums i believe. they have two others but i feel like im posting too many songs. so feel free to find some of your own.
9. sorry i forgot about this one but it always puts me in nice little zone. Lost
Avenged Sevenfold lost their drummer "The Rev" after these 4 albums. And in their 5th album nightmare you can really hear the sadness from the band in the music. Hail to the king was released earlier this year with a permanent replacement drummer for Jimmy. Please if you happen to read this, listen to them. Avenged Sevenfold has many different sounds, to hard metal, to full acoustic and piano songs. They are a jack of all trades in the music world and they deserve the respect of it

C.O.T.A.

That's right its that time of the year again Formula 1 returns to the United States at Circuit of The Americas in Austin TX. Last year i actually had tickets for the first race at COTA, but due to some family problems i couldn't make it out to Texas. But nevertheless ill sit on my couch. Make some hot dogs, and cheer for my Favorite team, Scuderia Ferrari. Even though 4 time F1 champ Sebastian Vettel already took the championship. Id still like to see Fernando Alonso to make a podium.

Well. New look

Im kind of upset. I made this blog look all nice and cool when I first made it. And i guess i either forgot to save all the changes when i did it. Or something messed up and it went back to the original state. But I've fixed it! Or improved it. Either way i think you will all agree it looks a lot better (:

Tuskegee, Connecting the Dots

So after thinking about how i can relate my project with what I want to do in life and what interests me. I had a brilliant idea. Tuskegee, i mean everyone has at least heard of them. Before or after the movie "Red Tails" which is a great movie just horrible acting. But the Tuskegee airmen were a fighter group in WWII who at first was tasked with well just flying patrol's and not seeing any action. But after months of debate finally got a job escorting American Bombers. And to the Surprise of everyone. Almost every bomber made it's way back home. And remained that way for the rest of the war. Where among the pilots the Tuskegee Airmen were among the Elite.

Music of the week.

Okay so im in the process of getting a new computer because this one has been dying on me the past couple of weeks. But i want to start something called music of the week. or music for the week I'm not exactly sure which one. But this is just mainly what i've been listening too this week. So this week is the band Hawthorne Heights. Now they are an older screamo/emo band but i just started listening to them again. If you want to explore some newer music. I'd try them out. There is a link somewhere to one of their full album's on YouTube. If you have 10 minutes to kill. Go for it :D

7 times

In 7 times Erica talks about a 13 year old boy who was shot 7 times by a police officer after he raised a fake rifle on the officer. It is a tragedy that this had to end with the death of a young boy. But i believe the police officer had every right to shoot the boy who was of Hispanic decent. The fake rifle looked exactly like a modern AK-47 or a similar Chinese assault rifle. Also the tip of the gun was not pointed red like it should have been to notify anyone if it was a fake rifle. The boy was asked several times to lower the weapon and then continued to raise and aim it at the officer. Who then opened fire.
